This place is overpriced and the communication with them is awful, they demanded a 50% non refundable deposit, we paid the full amount up front. When we decided to cancel due to work commitments we tried calling 4 times and spoke to a very nice receptionist who said the manager would get back to us. We still await the call... more

I've just got back from a weekend spent with the girls at the Passford House Hotel. The hotel is lovely but very old fashioned and chinzy - do not go if you are after something modern or slick. The gounds are absolutely gorgeous though and definitely worth taking a mooch around. There are lounges to have afternoon tea in (beware... more

I tried to book this hotel for a weekend in 6 months time. Staff confirmed booking over the phone. When I phoned up a week later they said they had never heard of me. So on the lack of customer service and attitude of the staff. I went elsewhere. more

We have stayed at Passford House four times and always have had a fantastic break come rain or shine. We have always found the staff friendly and flexible: nothing is too much trouble. There's a good mix of guests - old, young and families. It feels like a treat but isn't too stuffy. The rooms are a bit dated -... more

Ideal situation for visiting the New Forest and south coastline. Loads to do in the area. Also plenty to do at... more

Just returned from a great two night stay at Passford House. Not sure where the previous reviewer stayed but it didn't reflect our experience. The hotel staff were very welcoming from the time we arrived until we left. The room we had was superb, the grounds are fabulous (9 acres) tennis court, outdoor pool (obviously not in use at this... more

This is at best a 3 star hotel, but it is charging 5 star prices (we paid £270 per night). Our principal double room was large and clean, but the bed very uncomfortable, and there was a constant electrical buzz that kept us awake most of the night. The service was comical, whilst the staff were making an effort, they... more

We stayed one night at the Passford House in a Principal Double room. The room was lovely with a four poster bed and a recently refurbished bathroom. Fairly sumptuous actually. The extensive gardens are beautiful and worth a walk around. The PHH has two pools - one outside and one inside, so you can swim whatever the weather. The hotel... more
