We paid £22 a night here and for the money the hotel was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The room had a bath and shower although the bath was too slippy for kids. Tea and coffee facilities. Great location for the coast. Harvester and Tesco very good right next door. Only negative is... I stayed in a family room the night before my wedding. It was clean and comfy and the staff were very helpful-especially the young lady who was on her way home and dropped me at Tesco because I had forgotten something. My bridesmaids and hairdresser were supplied with extra items such as an extension socket and an iron and ironing board. The... More

Yes, it is a basic hotel, but rooms are clean, quiet, beds are big and comfortable, bathrooms are clean, staff is helpful and nice. A big group of friends stayed here because we had a wedding to attend to nearby and we were very happy with this place. There is a harvester walking distance, which is great for an English... More

Stayed overnight. As others state reception was human and not smothered in excessive sales talk .as soon as you arrived. Were offered breakfast but our decline was accepted graciously.Hotel is situated on main road into town with good parking. It is a stones throw from theme park and overlooks the potters kiln pub where a good menu is available.A large Tesco is next... Our 2 night stay started late due to car misfunction, so only one room was left. When we got to our room the first impression was a smell of sick, but it was late, we were very tired, and we knew there were no other rooms, so we did not bother to complain,. We sprayed round with our essential oil... More

I'm suprised to say I had no complaints at all about my stay here. I hadn't heard nice things about travel lodge accommodation but I was pleasantly suprised. I was checked in by a nice enough chap - it was quite refreshing not to be met with the fake customer service smiley 'welcome to the travel lodge' nonsense. My check... More

If you want a cheap stay, you can't hosting with this Travel Lodge. A real welcoming greeting and the hotel was nice and clean. Naturally, you wouldn't stay here for a holiday but its simplicity is ideal for a stay when visiting friends or for business. The best part is the price, which is excellent value.

We had a great deal of 2 nights for just over £46,we were very warmly greeted on our arrival ,and found that this lodge was very quiet compared to some that we have stayed in previuosly, ideally situated for our visit, with Harvestor and Beefeater within easy walking distance The staff can give themselves a pat on the back

Lets put things into perspective..this is a Travelodge. It is part of the budget hotel chain so anybody expecting the Ritz is wildly disallussioned!! The is one of the newer ones judging by appearances, located in a quiet setting just off the A12 bout 2 miles from Lowestoft and a few more from Great Yarmouth. It has a large free... More

We visit Lowestoft every six weeks, we therefore are very familiar with this hotel. We use the hotel for most of our visits, knowing what to expect. It is always clean, friendly staff, near to restaurants and facilities and to the relative we visit. We once had an encounter in the reception area with a drunken man, who was handled... More
