I spent two months in this hotel, when I was temporarily transfered from the Aberdeen office to the Lowestoft Office. A good location right on the beach and a five minute walk into the town centre. The breakfast room looked out onto the beach. Large clean airy rooms, (Apart from my first one, number 4 (?), which was small and... more

We stopped at this hotel over the may day bank holiday. We hadn't booked and arrived ay 1 a.m, we were tired and had had a long journey. The night receptionist could not have been more helpful. The hotel has a 24 hour bar open to residents, for which we were grateful, with a bar man who is friendly and... more

we first discovered the Victoria about 7 years ago and since then have been regular visitors. Like a lot of folk we have stayed at many hotels, particularly in east Anglia and this is certainly our favourite. The views, as previous visitors have said are breath-taking. The service is explemary, both at dinner and breakfast. We know that every time... more

This is a nicely restored hotel in a fantastic position overlooking the South Beach. We had a superior room on 3rd floor and it was very nice, similar to the picture on their website. Maybe because of the third floor the shower lacked pressure and beyond our two night stay I would have been really frustrated. A loud motor/pump noise... more

We stayed at the Victoria for a couple of nights having read the reviews on this website first. Like everybody else we thought the food was great but the seaviews are to die for. If you book a room on the top floor with a seaview you can see for miles and the beach is a wonderfull yellow sandy vast... more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a weekend break after Christmas. We thought we ate well during Christmas but WOW! the food at this hotel really was something special. In fact the whole experience was an unexpected special treat. Highly reccommended. more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night in early November for a biz trip. We were recomended by some friends and checked out the website. I must tell you that we were not dissapointed. We had a great room, but the real news is the food. What a surprise for a place like Lowestoft. Keep it... more

We booked via the hotel website worked ok for us... We did ring and check though after reading the review on here lol Great room with big lcd TV which my boyfriend loved. We did not get a seaview but the room was nice, clean bathroom, nice toiletries, big fluffy towels etc. The hotel was exceptionally busy with a wedding... more

A simple principle of hotel booking in the 21st century is that if you book online and receive a confimation with a reservation number you should assume that everything is ok. Not so with the Hotel Victoria . On arrival we found they had no record of our booking despite my printed evidence of the e-mail they had sent 6... more

Stayed here last week for three night. Typical Ye Olde English seaside residence. Great room (#110). Fine large room with small balcony and great view of beach and sea. Very professional, friendly staff - Great breakfast. more
