This is definitely one of the better Premier Inns, you could see the staff had made the extra effort. The room was quiet and the staff polite and helpful. Glad I stayed here and would stay again. more

This is such a superb Premier Inn I felt I had to write. I stayed 3 separate times, over 2 months, with a business colleague, and we both had a great experience. The hotel is set back from the road, down a slight hill behind the Beefeater Pub, which shelters it from most noise of the road - its in... more

The room was perfect - spotless and very new looking. The pillows where like they had just been bought and there was shampoo/showergel - plus, handwash in the bathroom. There was also a fan, which was wonderful, as the rooms can get hot. The room was made over every day and fresh towels put in. We visited Southwold, Beccles, (We... more

Premier Inn, Lowstoft. I stayed for a short break at this hotel with my parents, and found the hotel clean, well maintained and very staff friendly. The hotel has 2 floors, no lift. It is located behind the Foxburrow Inn which a Beefeater pub, and so set back from the main road. Rooms facing the public house may experience problems... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend at the end of last week. Our first impression of the hotel as we drove up to the front of it was that it was very welcoming and well kept, on entering the reception area we were welcomed by a lovely receptionist who was very knowledgable about the area and... more

We stayed here for one night during the Lowestoft Air Festival and wished we could have stayed longer. The Travelinn is situated in a quiet spot behind a rabbling old pub and has a very large car park. They had recently had a new block added and despite us paying a cut price rate we were lucky to be allocated... more

I've stayed here a couple of times this year. It's fine, just what you'd expect from a Premier Travel Inn. The rooms were clean and spacious, parking was easy. I didn't use the adjacent restaurant, preferring to eat out in the evening (excellent fish and chips in Southwold) and buy a cheaper option for breakfast (there's a very big Tesco... more

First the good stuff, easy to locate, no traffic noise, spacious new room, not cheap it was £60. However, poorly decorated and finished, for a 'new' wing it was pitiful, I wouldn't accept such shoddy workmanship. We were woken at 4 am by someone shouting outside in the grounds, we heard other guests above us disturbed by the same event.... more

It's a Premier Travel Inn. What more is there than that? It's comfortable, clean and functional, on a main road with a pretty terrible restaurant attached to it. Normally there's not much more to say than that and they're perfect for a fairly tight budget business traveller. However, this particular one is ruined by a very rude manager (or perhaps... more

This is a great place. The rooms are clean, simple and priced right. The hotel location itself is good as it's by the main road but set far enough back so there's no traffic noise at night etc. This hotel is beside an excellent beefeater restaurant too. Whenever I return, this is the hotel I stay in. more
