Travellers' Choice
Sun worshippers take note, Premier Inn Hotel Lowestoft is right in the heart of the 'Sunrise Coast'. If you're looking for lovely beaches or some fun family days out, there's plenty to keep you busy. Stroll along the unspoilt sands of Lowestoft Beach. Or visit the buzzing resort of Yarmouth and see why it got the name 'Great'. For something really unusual, visit Africa Alive, a walking safari set in 100 acres of land. Norwich is well worth a visit too, and once you're done come back to the hotel for tasty food and a comfy bed.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The hotel was in a perfect location for the reason we stayed, the service was really good and the lady that checked us in was nice and friendly. The room its self was really spacious, the bed was comfy. Breakfast at the Beefeater was lovely.

Hotel's Favourite
Live 150miles away from the majority of my family. This makes getting together for a family meal etc. a big effort. So as it was a family meal for birthday of hubby(main driver) I decided to do a stop overnight. Excellent idea. 3 rooms reasonable cost.

Started straight away once we walked into reception, I said the normal , Hi mate , how are you ? The reply ….. Next Question… Customers have been nothing but annoying today… been one of those days . Shocked .. I changed the subject and asked about car parking … Rudely he said put your Reg , Nationality, and signature on this piece of paper .. I directed us to our room . We was given room 140 which is a big family room with a standard size double not a king size as stated ( I was gunna complain but the wife said leave it as his already having a bad day) Ok …. So I had a shower the extractor fan wasn’t working , Got changed and regretted going to beefeater next door ( different story altogether) Came back to find the heater on controls not working , there was a wall heater wired in …. Not working , luckily the was a normal Radiator in the room which worked .. so they must know this is an issue . I woke up at about 5am for the toilet and turned on the table lamp and my finger went straight through the switch into the lamp … and this time I just wanted to go home .. this place is a DUMPbut the wife chilled me out and I got a couple more hours in before setting off about 0830 . I just wouldn’t bother staying here …. 2 others in Yarmouth which have to be better

Room was the usual Premier Inn, lovely comfy bed, only issue was room smelt damp as soon as you opened the door, became obvious the bathroom fan did not work and window would not open, notified reception 3 separate times but nothing done. One day we were left no towels, and every evening we returned our keys did not work! Breakfast was excellent the first morning but went down hill after this, no tea bags! No hot water, then last morning delivery had not arrived so very limited options! No offer of refunds. Staff handled it well though. Staff in hotel very polite apart from not dealing with issues.

On the past few occasions I have taken up the meal deal. On every occasion the restaurant has been fully booked requiring me to eat either very early or very late. On one occasion two couples checking in before me asked for a refund when they found they could not eat till well after 8PM On my last trip, I could only eat in the bar which required me to order my meal at the bar which caused issues when people sat at my table thinking it was empty while I was at the bar ordering as there was no reserved label on my table which caused us both issues. When the meal arrived I then had to go back to the bar to obtain cutlery. Not a good experience overall. If meal deals are taken up, Premier Inn should reserve sufficient tables in the evening to cater for this.

Clean Comfortable rooms. The Staff are really friendly especially Jayne and Karen. Free WiFi is decent. The Beefeater next-door is great for an evening meal and serve a delicious cooked breakfast every morning. Staying for work but would come here for a holiday

Stayed 2 nights. Nice big car park. Easy Checkin ( pre booked on line ) we also pre booked a breakfast, at the beefeater which is on sight. Our room was very clean, room 32 . fresh white sheets & additional pillows if needed. Kettle & hairdryer, towels are in the room . Extra coffee etc can be found in the lobby. Heating control was easy to use & room was nice & warm. Internet is hit & miss, but that is mentioned on booking. Staff were friendly on the desk. Bathroom was clean albeit a tad dated, shower is within the bath . Check out was at 12 which was basically just hand over the door card. Simple We had breakfast in the beefeater, full English & good selection of pastries. Very much DIY other than the cooked food which is ordered & bought out, toast diy as is refill tea & coffee. Had scrabbled eggs first day & they were not nice, very watery! The place was ok some chairs are in desperate need of replacing I’d rate it average. Staff were friendly & seemed quite laid back.. overall our stay was good.
