Stayed overnight here or work (Feb 8th) on the recommendation of a colleague, as I usually stay at the Victoria when visiting Lowestoft. Must say I will definitely be booking this hotel for future visits! The place has a very homely feel about the place, and doesn't come across as a lifeless chain type hotel. Welcome and Check in was... More

Stopped here 1 night. Slightly further out of town but this hotel is a little gem. Clean, quiet, friendly, comfortable and great value. Excellent food and a good amiable bar. If back in Lowestoft I wouldn't be looking elsewhere. Very accommodating and comfortable More

This hotel is 3 minutes walking distance to the beach. The rooms are modern cottages attached to a charming 'historic' main house. The lounge is cozy with dark paneling and deeply upholstered seating areas. The dining is upscale and served in a bright conservatory. Best of all, the proprietor is extremely personable with travel suggestions or late conversations in the... More

We stayed on a Saturday night, the room was spacious and very well appointed. The breakfast was excellent. Overall a very nice hotel which we would use again if in the area. More

I stay often on business and really enjoy the experience. The battered haddock is both enormous and tasty and the staff are friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean, comfortable and many are pretty spacious. Wi Fi is included. In summary, a very good, reasonable small hotel. More

I've stayed at Fisher's several times when visiting Lowestoft on business and have never failed to be impressed. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and a very good size, and the breakfasts use good quality ingredients and are well cooked. Couldn't be happier! More

This is a lovely hotel about 20 mins walk from the centre of Lowestoft and about 2 mins walk from the sea. The room we had was huge and very luxurious with a large sitting area as part of the room. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent quality with a very good wine. The owner was... More

Just wanted to say that this hotel was a great find after spending time in much poorer Lowestoft hotels. The rooms are smart and comfortable and a good size. The hotel has a good bar which even serves one real ale (Adnams). A simple restaurant menu whihc specilaises in plentiful but good cooking. Breakfast includes a proper traditional kipper (not...
