Many thanks to Mark and Morag for providing such a delightful stay. The food was excellent and home made, rooms clean and the banter was nothing short of gallus. The stout local bottled beer was delicious! Definitely a place i hope to come back to!

We stayed overnight as visiting in Dumfries...a truly fabulous night away from the kids! Our room was delightful! Food locally sourced and delicious! Wine thoughtfully recommended! We really couldn't have been treated any better by the wonderful Mark and Morag!

We stayed for one night on our way home to Northumberland, what a find, excellent will be telling all our friends and family and hope to return in June for a birthday treat. I certainly echo the sentiments of others. I wouldn't have found the Hightae Inn, had I not picked up on it through Trip Advisor, and the place definately deserves all the plaudits. My Partner and I stayed two nights whilst visiting friends and family. The first night we had a really fantastic meal of 5hr slow roast pork shoulder. The taste was superb, so much flavour. Thanks to Mark and Morag for making us so welcome. Try the Venezalian Rum as well !! Eddie and Shirley
