These most attentive of hosts devote themselves to meeting their patrons’ needs in terms of comfort and cuisine. Their bungalow affords splendid views south and south-westerly, with more extensive panoramas to be seen within walking distance from the road to this B & B. more

My parents, 1 year old son and myself stayed for one night in this exceptional B&B. Just a few miles from the motorway, Torbeckhill is in a lovely secluded area with superb views over to the Lakes. Torbeckhill is in an outstanding location and the accommodation is superb: clean, warm and welcoming. Yvonne and Gordon are first rate hosts, with concern for our comfort but aware of our privacy, and the selection presentaion of the meals was superb. If you do not visit Torbeckhill it will be your loss. more

We were made to feel most welcome at Torbeckhill. The room was extremely comfortable and clean with all amenities and more! An excellent B and B. We'd been driving for 8hours and it was just what we needed. We sampled the evening meal and it was fantastic and very good value . Yvonne is a very good cook.
