We paid £80--00 each (single) for a midweek stay certainly not value for money. Staff were friendly and the evening meal was good value for money. We have used the Windmill on many occasions and can confirm what the previous reviewer said; they really do have the world’s best fish & chips. The rooms are spacious, spotless and well equipped and the food is always excellent. Try the local sausages or the steak burger if you want some really good comfort food. My wife booked a nights accommodation on a special valentines package for £120 for the pair of us. The room was fresh and comfortable. Junction 19 M6, perfect for Knutsford, Manchester and stop offs on M6. Rooms beautifully appointed, food superb; why do they produce the best fish and chips on the planet? however the menu is varied with daily specials. Great value, clean, welcoming and worth the visit more
