I know that Premier Inns are supposed to be cheap and cheerful, but this place is in DIRE need of a proper refurbishment. Comfortable stay - quiet. Nice pub food and breakfast at pub which adjoins it. Basic, good value accommodation. Friendly front of house staff. more

The property is split into two parts, one a new block that is pretty charmless but the other a converted stables. The latter has exposed beams, etc but as each room has 'character' then that means there are flaws, e.g. hot water pipe so hot the room temperature cannot be controlled, next to noisy road, etc. But these stables rooms... more

since first report of june 9 2004 our stay on 5 december shows nothing has changed. Curtains still dirty, dust still thick, toilets still smelly, remnants of toilet rolls, poor access to restaurant for wheelchairs, no ramps despite it now being illegal not to have wheelchair accesss. more

Stayed at the hotel on 23rd May before flying abroad. The room was filthy.....dirty net curtains, mildew on window frames, carpet not been vacuumed properly and the toilet a disgrace.
