We stayed at the Mere and had a fabulous weekend. Although not golfers we enjoyed great food and the spa facilities were very good. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I would return here in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone.

I booked into the spa for me and my girlfriend the monday just gone(06/05/2013). Although the two treatments I recieved were great the overall feeling was that it was overpriced. The food in the bar was not up to standard either. Overall I was rather dissapointed with the whole expieriance.

Finding the hotel was not so easy, its a golf course etc so you are looking for somewhere out in the wilds - surprisingly the entrance is actually at a cross roads - so we drove past twice before realising it was there. Stayed for 2 nights on business. Excellent facilities in the spa area, no expense has been spared. Rooms very good as well although wasn't expecting the disabled shower. No shower curtain resulted in the whole bathroom becoming saturated. Good buffet breakfast. Staff very welcoming and professional.

A very comfortable and welcoming hotel. Probably one of the comfiest beds that I have slept in anywhere in the world! Friendly helpful staff. Very nice night spent here. Check-in was painless, and the room was very nice. The brown decor may not be to all tastes, but it works well - and although dark it does give a serene setting. Ordered room service rather than heading to the restaurant, and were served with the best steaks we have ever experienced with in-room service.... More
