Had our wedding at Mere Court in April. The venue is a fabulous place to hold your wedding reception. The food, service, hotel, staff and whole experience was amazing. Beware thought if you just plan to visit on a weekend night in wedding season, you will most probably be swamped with wedding guests! more

Needing to stay overnight in this area we found details of a number of hotels via the internet. I telephone Mere Court and asked if the had a room available that was accessible by wheelchair. My boyfriend took me to Mere Court to get away from it all for my 21st birthday and it was pure luxury! It was a beautiful building (Grade 2 Listed I think) and the gardens were pretty and well-kept - Perfect for an after dinner stroll.
