The fabulous Orcades Hostel is spotlessly clean, stylish, and comfortable. More like a great B & B rather than a hostel, it is run by a young brother and sister who are friendly, enthusiastic and obviously enjoying being in the hospitality business.

For £15 a night it is an absolute bargain, as there are small rooms with two bunk beds, a sparkling en suite bathroom, and a fabulous big glossy kitchen. There is also a huge comfortable sitting and dining room, with clean squashy sofas, big flat screen television and lots of information pamphlets and booklets.

The hostel is centrally located and if you are visiting Orkney you won't find a better place to stay. more
