No part of the hotel is level with famous stone slabs of wind-sheltered Commercial Street and a spooky entrance leads to a double flight of stairs covered with a very worn carpet. OK, Lerwick is not a gastronomic paradise, however the Grand is expensive for what is offered. May once have been grand but not now. A bit smelly when you come in the back entrance (smoke and toilets) and dated inside.
