Its possible that Travelodge have now realised that they are near the bottom of the pile in the budget hotel market. We booked here to visit the touring car races at Knockhill circuit we prepaid £52 for two nights stay (£26 per night) It gives the impression of being quite an old hotel, and a bit different from the usual travelodge (I've stayed in quite a few!) Would say a typical Travelodge (which is no bad thing) - but found room very comfortable, very quiet. Stayed one night (Thurs 22nd Sept 2005) as final night of whistle-stop tour around Scotland, before heading home. Only complaint that nothing of note nearby - 24hr Motorway Cafe, but a Co-Op nearby in Kinross (to get more reasonibly priced sandwiches!) And... more
