This was my second visit to the restaurant with my partner and his parents - we booked a table for 4 on 1.9.09. The portions were disappointingly small. My partner's father also booked his 80th birthday party at the restaurant in Sept 08 and after a complaint was made regarding the insufficient quantity of vegetables, further dishes were served. Although... more

We stayed 1 night, our room excellent (we think the rooms have recently had a make over)/the price more that excellent/food and wine absolutely spot on, we where given a choice of tables either in the upstairs restaurant... more

We stayed for three nights at the end of May and were very pleasantly surprised. The room was very nice with some nice extra touches such as complimentary water, tea and coffee facilities, iron and ironing board, free wifi - many of which you have to ask for or pay for in other hotels. The location is lovely and the... more

We stayed 2 nights recently at the Shibden Mill Inn, and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. From start to finish our stay was an absolute pleasure. We had a 'superior' grade room, which was beautifully decorated in keeping with the place. It was spotlessly clean, with a lovely bathroom. All the usual facilities for tea/coffee making, even a... more

Enjoyed a couple of nights stay here for business and had a lovely relaxing stay. Staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful and rooms are well thought out with all the amenities you could want, including freeview televisions, dvd's and bathrobes. Complimentray newspaper delivered to the door on the first morning. A good value stay. Breakfasts are great - would recommend... more

I stay here regularly on business, and look forward to each visit. Always a warm welcome, and a very homely feel to the place. The rooms have recently been refurbished, and apart from a very small bath in one room (why not just a shower ?), very comfortable. When you arrive in your room you will find a radio quietly... more

The rooms were comfortable, warm and "quiet". Food was fantastic (no need to eat out) and the staff were so friendly and helpful it was a real pleasure to stay there. The bar was like local we would all like to have (with their own local beer!). WiFi is also available more

Shibden Mill Inn is a fantastic hotel for a quiet night away and great food. I recently stayed there the night before my wedding along with 10 friends and it was a great evening. The standard of the food was excellent, it wasn't particularly cheap but they managed to serve 13 of us 3 course without any complaints! The bar... more
