Rooms are quite pricey for what you get. Bathroom in serious need of professional maintenance as its grubby and falling to bits. Indian owner not investing money in making a quality B&B experience!

Very nice B&B, rooms clean and cosy. Good rates, including a fantastic full breakfast, freshly prepared even at 6am in the morning. Will very happily stay again.

I was working in nearby Copley for 16 months and stayed their for this time in the week at Kirk Lea's. Absoloutly cracking B+B, John and Val are wonderful hosts, rooms clean, breakfasts to order and very flexible regarding check-in times. Would not hesitate to use the place again if I returned to the area.

Stayed here for one night to visit the Calderdale hospital.. it is exactly opposite the hospital.. small room but very clean.. the thing i like most is the breakfast.. very nice and good portion too.. will recommend to anyone coming to halifax.. keep up the good work
