My Husband, Sons and their Girlfriends stayed for 1 night in this very friendly hotel whilst attending a Ruby Wedding family party in the area. The bedrooms are immaculate and very comfortable, my husband and I were lucky enough to stay in the 4 poster bedroom, which was absolutely delightful. The decor is nice and airy and I could not... more

An excellent place to stay, very friendly staff and good hospitality. There has been a program of recent refurbishment with a lovely new dining room and breakfast room. The bedroom was very clean with a decent shower, no faults at all. Breakfast has a good choice of cereals or an excellent full English cook breakfast (cooked fresh to order). There... more

Stayed here Boxing Day and next 2 days, with wife and 2 daughters in the family room - number 19. Facilities OK - room was a decent size, and clean - but en suite shower room very small, and dirty - many cobwebs etc, and only liquid soap provided. Breakfast was OK with cereals, juice, toast, tea/coffee and full English... more

The room was clean. However, the bed was very uncomfortable, and my room was noisy (could hear the TV from downstairs all... more

We stayed for 2 nights here, and although there were some things that could have been improved on, others were great. The rooms were average, but comfortable, the bathrooms the same. Breakfast was good, with a good choice of cereals and english breakfast (with optional vegetarian meal if notified in advance). The staff were friendly, and it was quiet. Parking... more

I checked out this hotel on Trip Advisor before booking myself a room here for a weekend whilst visiting friends in the area. I thought the previous log where one traveller described how the fire alarms were faulty was going to be just a one off and as I couldn't find anywhere else to stay at such short notice i... more
