I have just spent four days there with a group and found the hotel needing a visit from Alex Politzi the Hotel Inspector. Stayed in first floor room with double and single bed that was certainly roomy but there were mustard yellow circles behind the bed where something had been removed and left unpainted magnolia like the rest of the... Your review outstands all the others we have had from the group you travelled with. We do use frozen vegetables but with the peas only. I can assure you all other veg used is fresh. We are always advised by Coach Operators to cook our veg on the 'softer side' for you as opposed to a la dente which we... More

Stayed at the embassy last night and it was lovely the place is very clean and the bed , although a little creeky, was very comfortable. The bedding was lovely and the room smelt gorgeous. We had dinner in the bar and it was obvious that the guy was running a one man show at the time , however he... More

Jus returned home to Yorkshire after a two night stay at this excellent hotel we had a brilliant double room with sea view and definitely three star and touching on four star facilities, we were shown to our room by David who was very informative and later on proved to be an excellent barman. The hotel is beautifully decorated and... More

As avid Trip Advisor followers booked this weekend break a week before visit, deciding on Great Yarmouth as it was close to a Sunday lunch family party we attended. The hotel itself is 200 metres fromthe seafront and we had a view of the sea from our room. On arrival David, showed us to our room, not had that service... More

This was by far the best holiday I have ever been on! My double room was lovely, plenty big enough for me and my friend and we also had a brilliant view. We were seen to by Odette, who was very welcoming and ensured that we were shown to our room, letting us know all the times for meals and... More

This hotel's rooms looked lovely in the photographs, but when we were shown to our double room it was cramped, needed decorating and the bathroom smelt off. We overlooked the back of a restaurant so Saturday night (our first night) we heard voices and swearing which made it hard to sleep. Also there was a strange noise above us like... More

After looking into the points raised on your recent review of the hotel, please find my findings, We have undergone a lot of work in the hotel in terms of refurbishment to our rooms and public areas. Approximatley 75% of our bedrooms are complete. The room you stayed in, whilst clean, is a little out of date in its decor.... More

Our party of 5 originally booked a double and triple room at Gable End Hotel, the sister hotel of The Embassy Hotel. We were moved as a result of a mixed up in the booking process. The Embassy Hotel is well located opposite the Sea Life Centre, a short walk to everything in Great Yarmouth. Public areas in the hotels... More
