I recently had the pleasure of a stay at Dunallan and have to say this is one of the loveliest guest houses around. Dave and Jayne are consumate hosts, nothing was too much trouble. my wife and I spent the night there on our way to Inverness. The B&B is close to shops and restaurants. The rooms are very nice but it was a bit small for two people. THe breakfast was amazing and Dave made us feel very welcome. more

We Stayed At Dunallan House For Our Hunnymoon Earlier On This Year And Thought It Was Absolutely Perfect. Jayne And Dave MAde Our Stay Amazing. My husband and I loved staying at Dunallan House. David and Jayne were very friendly and gracious. David's advice regarding where to eat, the best places to fish the Spey River and where to stop on the way to Edinburgh was excellent. Myself and my partner spent a long weekend in Grantown on Spey in this guesthouse. The welcome received was excellent, the breakfasts were second to none. Found this B&B online and took a chance and it turned out to be a wonderful choice. Great welcome from David and Jayne, quality en-suite room and good Scottish breakfast. David recommended 2 excellent restaurants in Grantown which we would not have found. Grantown is an excellent centre from which to explore the Cairngorms away the crowds in Avimore. more

Daunallen House is located behind the main centre of the the town near the golf course, and with great access to local woodland walks. The option to kayak on the Spey is available or just walk along the river bank and observe the flora and wildlife. The town is full of tea rooms and a good village store to replenish... more

We stumbled on this Guest House by chance and were greeted with a truely warm scottish welcome from David & Jayne.
