We found this wonderful B&B by driving around Grantown on Spey, and we were very happy with our find, just a block from downtown. Welcoming and friendly host (Gary), great large room on the third floor with slanted ceilings and a bathroom in the hall just outside our door. I loved the window you could raise to let in air... Jane made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. Our ground-floor bedroom was clean, large and comfortable, with everything we needed. The bathroom (ours exclusively) was a short walk down the hallway -- a mild inconvenience -- but it was very nice, with a large, deep bathtub, and bathrobes were provided. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was excellent (especially the fruit selection) and the owners had an enourmous range of local information available in the sitting room. Great base for touring Speyside. More

Great food, excellent accommodation, and really friendly, helpful hosts. Grantown-on-Spey is convenient for touring the Highlands as well. There is a very good, foodie, pub (The Craig Bar) in the same road as the guest house. More

Plus points: Spacious room, good breakfast, helpful advice, good location. Not so good: Drinks supplies in the room limited (one cup of coffee and one chocolate drink). I would use this B&B again if staying in the area. More

I stayed here for one night on a work trip this week and loved it - wish I'd had an excuse to stay longer! My room was immensely comfortable and one of the cleanest B&B rooms I've ever stayed in. Jane was wonderfully hospitable and the room was spacious, comfortable and luxurious. We loved our stay! (she also helped direct us to the local pharmacy!) More
