We stayed in this Hotel and what to say........ The room was horrible. Tiny, smelly, the bed was broken with an old awful mattress. Everything in it looks tatty, old, damaged. The TV with no remote. The bathroom is a 1970's surviving example. If it's not easy to have a good night sleep on beds like that, the walls are... more

Although I know the area this Hotel was new to me as the normal ones I use were full. Room was the Std Double, size was OK. All a bit tired but very clean so no problem.Squeaky floors. Plenty parking.Less than 5 mins walk into main street. Breakfast was good. PS nice pub next door which serves 20 types of pies. more

Hotel is nice but not quite what was expected from the photos on the site. In the middle of a street packed with Guest Houses and B&B's. We booked the salmon suite which was comfortable and clean. The jacuzzi bath is very 1970's but it did work a treat. Bed was 2 singles pushed together - dont sleep on the... more

Satyed at the hotel as a party of 16 guys on a golfing break. Rooms had recently been refurbished and were comfortable and well presented. Stayed on a dinner, bed & breakfast deal at a cost of approx £45 a night. Good value as it included breakfast of cereals, juices, full breakfast etc. Dinner was excellent with a good choice... more

We stayed at another inn in Grantown, but came to the Seafield Inn twice for dinner and drinks in the lovely little pub -- great barman, wonderful food an overall just a perfect spot for a "toes up" and a scotch. Would definately return - more

We stayed for two nights in this hotel, The service was friendly and breakfast was very good apart from you have to go down some stairs via the residents lounge to the breakfast room. The rooms are basic but very clean, they are a little dated in decor and the TV reception is not good. If you need somewhere clean... more

We booked this hotel after having looked at its website ,and after having made a reservation, received a brochure from the owners which looked ok. On arrival, we were shocked to see that what was rated as standard rooms were very basic and the one we were shown was a very small doubleroom with rough looking fittings. Furniture was very... more

First time staying in Grantown, we were fortunate to find this hotel. The new owners are lovely, very friendly and helpful. We took our little dog with us and they were brilliant with him. Food is good, breakfast plentiful but the coffee could be better however. The room was spacious and comfortable. more

We had the pleasure of staying at the Seafield Lodge, and we were given the 'trout' suite which was lovely. The bar was cosy with an open fire and the food was outstanding. However, please be aware that this hotel has recently been taken over. Our only gripe which, in effect marred a lovely stay for us was that there... more

We stayed in the Trout Suite and it suited our purposes well. It was very nice to have a separate bedroom and lounge room. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating of a two-year-old. The meals were good and there is plenty of off-street parking. It is a block back from the high street, but a pleasant walk. There... more
