I must agree with the recent review,we have stayed here a number of times in 2004 / 5 / 6 and it was great, lovely and clean, great food and service.(and a great selection of malts )
Our visit this year was very different and i understand the reason is that it changed hands last year and the new owners are more interested in the plans to change the bulk of the Hotel to private apartments,and build new ones in the grounds,rather than run as a traditional Hotel.
Well,fair play to them buts its a shame for us,and a shame for other customers who experienced the high standards of before,
