Having stayed in several other hotels in Grantham (business, not pleasure), I can honestly say that it's not worth staying at hotels in the town centre - the place is dead on an evening. The Hotel web site says there is a connecting indoor-outdoor pool - which is why we booked. It doesn't exist. This is clearly a business hotel - run as such in typical Marriott style. It is a bit far off from the centre of Grantham which is a shame, a taxi is needed if one wants to go to any decent restaurant or bar. The food is OK, although the menu is very limited. The bar is not very nice... more
