Stayed here for one night to visit some friends, the place was spotlessly clean, bedding was clean and fresh and breakfast was very good. Also great location right near town centre. Highly recommend a stay here. And quite cheap too.

Stayed here for one night as I had a meeting in nearby Newark and it was on route (with a little diversion off A1). Warm welcome and comfortable room at top of house. Would definitely stay again, but will request en suite in room next time. Breakfast was ample and tasty (set me up for the day).

We stayed at The Red House for 3 nights and found it to be relaxing, comfortable, clean, and very welcoming. The staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make our stay a very positive experience. The breakfast was very good, and overall, this bed and breakfast is a very good value. Cosy, welcoming place; the staff are friendly, my room was clean, not too noisy, a I had a free room to a room with a double bed and ensuite bathroom! There is free wi-fi but I didn't get a chance to try it out. Good location as well.
