Sue and Phil are the ultimate professional B&B proprietors. The breakfast was faultless and the quality of food outstanding, right up my street.

A pleasant welcome and a cup of tea was just what I wanted after a long drive. I'm not a great cake fan but I have to say that Sue's cooking is what I call real family fare.

One thing I did miss was a good long soak in a bath but that's a personal preference.

The guest lounge is very cosy and I would look forward to a winter visit when that lovely log burner is lit.

The evening meal at one of the two pubs in the village was good and within easy walking distance.

All in all, a very enjoyable experience. more
