I spent a weekend here with a group of around 50 people from my church aged from 2-93. The hotel is in a lovely location and within a 20-30 minute drive from Lake Windemere. Our room was ensuite with shower and a bath although some only had a bath and some rooms have no ensuite at all. Make sure you specify the type of room you want when you book. The rooms are clean and comfortable (just watch out for the flies if you leave your window open). The food in the dining room is lovely and there is plenty of staff on hand if you need anything. There is a small coffee shop in the conservatory as well as a play area for children. Our group also took advantage of the lovely indoor swimming pool. more
