The hotel was clean and that's the only compliment I can pay it. This was one of the noisiest hotels we have ever stayed in. If you like cheap flat pack furniture, a breakfast that can only be described as take away and sleepless nights - then this is the place for you!

We stopped here overnight before flying on our holiday from Newcastle Airport. The Travelodge is on a site with a Holiday Inn, Kentucky Fried Chicken, TFI Fridays to name a few. The hotel was your usual Travelodge but it was absolutely spotless. We just ate at one of the local restaurants and it was very good. Good base if going to the airport. If you are wanting to enjoy Newcastle, it would be better if you stayed the Newcastle Central Travelodge. Staff very friendly and helpful - but you always expect that from 'Geordies'.
