Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The hotel is lovely and we had a perfect stay the only too problems we had was there was no notice to tell guests about the routine fire alarm tests on mondays the receptionist said there were notices about this everywhere there was notice anyway and the only other issue is a lack of pedestrianizeation because not every tom dick or harry uses a car .

Came here for the weekend as we have family live nearby and had plans to meet up in the City centre for the day. Where this hotel is situated it's on a very busy carriageway road with no path for walking to and from the only bus stop which is roughly 5-10 mins walk once you get across the road. This is the only downfall of the stay. Specially with kids and wanting to take the bus into City Centre. The hotel itself is lovely. Very clean with really nice staff. Room was spotless. Food from the Brewers Fayre was lovely and again inside the restaurant it was spotless. Overall we enjoyed our stay and now know what to expect on our next visit. We will be happy to return!!

Good value and well ran premier inn, just what you expect if you've stayed in a premier inn before. Room we had was on the smaller side than others we have stayed before but it was practical for what we needed. Dont normally give massive praise to the attached restaurants like brewers Fayre etc but this one was i think the best ive been to. There was a good variety of food, a very good drins list and the food came out piping hot and plentiful. The staff were very welcoming and we enjoyed our visit.

Not expecting much as it’s a budget hotel. Lady on front desk very polite and helpful. Plenty parking also. But whilst the room was tidy it was dirty and smelled so bad. I walked in, walked out and checked out. Terrible and never ever again. Room was disgusting

We stop off at this hotel regularly to visit family 3 miles from this location. Young grandchild just loves the soft play in the restaurant and we like the food selection. Hotel rooms have always been quiet (so far!) and the accessible rooms are very good with all the safety equipment in place. Only minor criticism is the bar service that could be better. The issue here is only a single staff member taking food orders and pouring drinks. You only need one dithering customer who can’t make up their minds to bring an at best slow moving queue to a complete standstill. Not fun when all you want is another pint!

Picked mainly due to the location to the Metrocentre. The Metrocentre is reasonably close but due to the amount of retails parks and the amount of traffic takes a while to get to. Hotel was a letdown though due to the amount of noise from the windows which fitted badly. Staff were friendly though. Raised the window problem on leaving with reception, although just the default "we'll give you the contact details for Guest Relations" response. The internal additional glazed unit had been removed leaving just the framework for it. This apparently was done in the summer because the rooms were too warm according to the receptionist. The left hand side of the window was sealing but the right hand side had a large gap in it resulting in noise from the dual carriageway that we faced onto.

Were sorry you didn't have the experience you were expecting. We are always trying to do our best for our guests which does mean working with what we have got, taking glazing out was what a lot of our guests preferred during the summer months. As the season has changed we are now putting the glazing back in the front of the hotel to tackle this issue. Your feedback is always welcome and encouraged so thank you.

Arrived unexpectedly early and was offered early check in for £10 and accepted ...family room was 1x double and 2 singles ... Nice big room ... very clean ...tv and fan .... went to re Etton for iron and ironing board to use and was given straightaway along with extra pillows ... after very long journey with mobility issues the bath was a godsend for aches and pains ...very long and deep .... the only issue was there wasn't a grip handle on the wall to help lift yourself out of Bath.....and we come to the beds .... I can honestly say they are the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on ... the bedding was very clean and crisp ....and our heads hit the pillow and we were all sound asleep ....im actually buying bedding and mattress from premier inn Web site
