Oh my god the breakfast is both amazingly good, and amazingly huge The owners really, really enjoy themselves and this results in a great B&B more

This is the loveliest B&B we've stayed at in a long time. We had the four-poster suite which was very spacious with a comfortable bed and a huge en-suite/dressing room. Lots of interesting bits and bobs to have a look at in the room and in the hallway downstairs. We had the most enormous breakfast - wonderfully cooked and served... more

Michael, Fowey's town crier, was welcoming, friendly, entertaining and full of useful information about good places to visit, walks etc.. We stayed in the blue room for 4 nights; it was a reasonably size with nice en-suite. The church is adjacent to the B&B and the bells ring day and night on the quarter hour, which can be a problem... more

We stayed at the Foye Old Exchange for five nights and it was a truly memorable holiday. Our hosts Michael and Celia were very welcoming and make our stay very comfortable. We stayed in the Blue Room which we found to be clean and spacious and the bed was very cosy. Breakfast was a real treat - was never able... more

We stayed at the B&B last weekend, for what was supposed to be 2 nights. Unfortunately, after the first night we had to check out early. Very nice people, very clean, but our bedroom looked directly onto the churchyard, and the church bells rang every 15 minutes ALL night. We had assumed they would stop between perhaps 11 pm and... more

Management response from

Fowey is a picturesque ancient Town built around its Church the clock does chime every fifteen minutes and strikes the hour. The bells ring on Friday night & Sunday morning and when there is a wedding usually Saturday this is part of Fowey's character it cannot be turned off at night as suggested by our disgruntled guests! Our house is over...

What a wonderful place! The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I hope to return one day. The position is lovely, just a few minutes to the harbour. There is no parking at the B&B, but that is not unusual in Fowey as the streets are so narrow. You can stop to drop off your luggage then you have to... more

Great location near Fowey quay means that it's just a short wander to lots of places to eat and drink. We had a comfortable stay in the blue room and were served a lovely, huge, breakfast the following morning. Very friendly service. more

I can confirm all the previous positive reports - a great situation, the most friendly of hosts and legendary breakfasts. I would suggest going for the 4-poster, as our room was a little on the small side, although there was a good-sized bathroom more

My daughter and I stayed at Foye Old Exchange for 1 nights at the end July beginning Aug. The B & B is located a few minutes walk from Fowey town quay and is in a perfect location. We stayed in the Green Room room which is very comfortable, with a good-sized ensuite shower room. Fowey Town was small, great... more

We stayed at Foye Old Exchange for 2 nights at the beginning of May whilst visiting relatives in St Austell. The B & B is located a few minutes walk from Fowey town quay and is in a perfect location. We stayed in the "Four-Poster" room which is very comfortable, with a good-sized ensuite shower/dressing room. Free car parking is... more
