Was here for a wedding recently, and this really is a 5 star hotel in every way. Top class location, fine food, superb staff, nice ambience, great golf. Actually, a tremendous location. The decor is a bit old-style for my liking, but then again I'm a bit younger (I hope!) than their target audience, so I wouldn't lodge a complaint... more

I stayed at Lough Erne in March for a wedding. Everything about this hotel is totally top class. We stayed in a Lodge on the grounds and it was abs gorgeous. With two double bedrooms, 1 upstairs, 1 downstairs and bathroom on each floor and fully fitted kitchen, TV and fireplace. The hotel itself is also just as beautiful. The... more

My husband and I together with our 10 and 11 year old were just taking a night off property renovations about an hour away in Donegal. Booked online and stayed in a 2 bedroomed lodge - number 4. We've been fortunate and stayed in some absolutely fantastic five star hotels and upon entering the lodge it was quickly apparent that... more

My wife and I attended a family wedding here and I can honestly say that for five star prices, it was two star food. I am a vegetarian and so were several of the other guests. All the vegetarians had diarrhoea the next day. Probably just a coincidence though!! The portions are pitiful and the quality of the food was... more

I stayed at this hotel last weekend. Absolutely fantastic. Although the surroundings and food were very much 5 *, the very friendly and polite staff really made the stay relaxed and enjoyable. Lunch in the Blaney bar was superb but our meal in the Catalina restaurant has got to be the best I have ever had. The Thai Spa is... more

Definately built to a 5 star standard - even if outside needs to be finished off. Room was fine but felt a little cramped, bathroom excellent. Dinner was very good but as others have pointed out they need to do something about the breakfast. Overall feeling is that it missing something to make you feel you had five star experience. more

Truly an astounding and wonderful location to visit. I recently attended a three day UK conference and I have to say we truly got five star treatment throughout our stay. As soon as you walk through the door you were met with a warm smile and given a very pleasant welcome. The food and service was of the highest standard... more

I had never even heard of the Lough Erfne Golf Resort before we went here. We stayed in the lodges beside the hotel overlooking the lough. Everything about the hotel and our stay was perfect. Breakfast was fabulous, staff were so so friendly and accomodation was fantastic. I couldn't believe how reasonable it was for 5 star luxury. The golf... more
