I have stayed at various hotels around this area and I have personally found this hotel to be the best. Here the staff are curious and polite and always smiling. The food is good and service excellent with nothing seeming to be too much trouble. I always find the rooms clean and its really nice to be recognized and welcomed... more

Yes the pictures on the McDonald website show a beautiful old manor house but you probably won't stay in it. You will be most likely herded off into the extensions added on to the old building. I agree with a previous poster, there is a fantastic little pub 300 yds away. I found it as well!!! Just can't remember the... more

We visited this hotel on a trip around south east england and the cotswold. Oh dear, never again. The room was ok, but to be honest what followed sort of over shadowed everything else. The hotel restaurant was souless and lifeless, with no tablecloths,a bit like a transport cafe. The food was so so , nothing spectacuar. We are northerners who tip when we... more

I would recommend this hotel it you are visiting windsor - it is around 4 miles outside but you can park in windsor by the train station for only £4.00 a day (after 10am) and this also gives you access to the surrounding area's. The Savill Court Hotel is set in lovely grounds with a fab litle pub just 300... more

We stayed here for two nights for our 1st wedding Anniversary. Initial impressions were good, once we'd actually found it (it's on Bishopsgate Road, not on Wick Road as the map indicates!), and we were checked in quickly and welcomingly. However, our first let down was the room. We'd booked a "Feature Room" which we'd be led to believe had... more

Parking is free and very close to the entrance. Hotel is well presented from the outside, and the inside is equally as pleasant. I arrived at 11.45pm very tired. Lady on the desk was great, very friendly and chatty for such a late check in! I had a ground floor room, very spacious and a proper double bed too (unlike... more

We stayed at this Savill Court for one night recently and were very impressed with the overall quality and the staff. The hotel is very classic, the rooms are bright, clean and have everything a traveler might need (comfy bed, decent shower, bathrobes, iron). The breakfast was excellent too, a great selection (fruit, cereals, cold meats, pastries, full English, smoked... more

I have booked AND PAID for two double rooms about 2-3 months in advanced. As the hotel and its surroundings seemed very impressive, we were really looking forward to our stay. On our arrival however, we have been advised that there are several weddings going on at the moment, so our rooms are occupied and they even have a full... more
