My partner and I stayed at Jeanette and John's B&B for the Bank Holiday weekend and had the most peaceful, wonderful weekend. Their home is 5 minutes from the beach - a beautiful sandy oasis with lots of local families and dogs. We were blessed with heaps of sun & an unimpeded view of the Isle of Wright. Highcliff castle... What a find the Lemon Trees is! Jeannette and John are warm and friendly hosts, and nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautifully decorated with a poppy theme; the smallish window looked out onto a fence, but this was vine covered and dotted with pottery ornaments - like a fairy grotto! The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The... More

Always our first choice in the area, we stayed 2 nights 6th and 7th Sep 2012. We have been staying here for about 4 years now, once or twice a year, and John and Jeanette have always been the most helpful of hosts. The property is maintained to a very high standard indeed, and being located in a quiet cul-de-sac... More

Made to feel very welcome, very comfortable stay with my wife and 3 year old daughter. John and Jeanette couldn't do more for us. Breakfast was great and set us up for a busy day. Many thanks.

We were welcomed with warmth, assistance with luggage and a cup of tea! Our room was fresh and clean, well furnished and well equipped. The short walk to the very close by beach, which remains pleasantly non commercialised, is flat and level and in this area the off road parking that comes with the accommodation is a big bonus from...
