Just returned from a long weekend camping at holmsley and I honestly can say, "I could not have asked for more". Yes there are no bars for the adults, no swimming pools, limited play areas and only a small take away, BUT isn't that what camping is all about? We had a terrible time at Holmsley campsite. We have camped often and Holmsley is the ugliest and worst run site we have come across. We booked via the Forestry commission who own the site and were told the shower blocks were new and it was good for kids, which couldn't be further from the truth. Campers don't ask for... more
