This lovely bed & breakfast was an excellent find! We stayed for 1 night attending a wedding at highcliffe castle. The owners are lovely people (I forgot my jeans when we left and Helen called me straight away to let me know!). Breakfast was excellent, rooms clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this b&b. more

we stayed at chewton edge on several occasions and it never failed us. we chose this location as this was close to family. The first time we stayed the room was small bu did the trick. the 2nd visit we stayed in the upstairs room with the jacuzzi, we found the owner polite and accomodating. i would recommend this guest... more

We decided at the very last minute to get away and so had been advised to try the Chewton Edge B&B at Walkford Christchurch. Well our friends totally under estimated the experience we had there. It was so welcoming, it was like stopping at a family members house. The room was cosey and warm and the breakfast was superb. I... more

I made a last minute decision to visit the Christchurch and surrounding areas. I was recommended to use this B & B, as it was taken over by new owners at the end of 2007 and is therefore now very much improved. I was so pleased with everything. A most pleasant and enjoyable experience. A spotless room, a super breakfast... more

Great little B and B. Needed to be close to the Chewton Glen hotel for a wedding which was a 5 min car drive away. We stayed in room 3, which was up a narrow staircase. Room was a decent size and had a good power shower and whirlpool corner bath. Cooked breakfast was lovely. Check out time is 10am. more

Excellent B&B. New owners this year - v. friendly and welcoming. Luxury room upstairs decent size room, bed and bathroom (with bath and whirlpool although this feature can;t be used after 10pm - fair enough). Breakfasts large and variable, and can be discussed with owner to get what you want. Plenty to cater for vegetarians as well. An excellent place... more

Just returned from a very relaxing, comfortable 3 nights staying at Chewton Edge. We chose the 'deluxe' room with large ensuite and jacuzzi. The house and room were spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were delicious. There was a little traffic noise from the nearby road but certainly not enough to disturb us. Having read the earlier reviews it seems that... more

Fantastic!! We booked at the last minute. Even though the new owners had only been in the premises for less than a month, they were still happy to fit us in. The room we stayed in has changed from last time we stayed, being redecorated and has been very much improved. Helen and Graham Neal are great hosts and we... more

When we arrived at the Chewton Edge Guesthouse, the place was deserted, though there was a sign on the door with a mobile number. Called this, no answer, left message. After a while, sent text. The owner called back and said she could not be back for some hours as she was at the hairdresser! Finally she came back. Asked... more

The B&B itself is ideally placed for day-trips to the Isle of Wight (via Lymington), Christchruch, Bournemouth, The New Forest and the National Car Museum at Beaulieu (which is well worth a visit if you’ve never been). My fiancée and I stayed in the 'Deluxe bedroom'. For just a few pounds more, we got the only room on the top... more
