We stayed 3 nights in Windy Williums with our 3 years old son at the end of September. The whole place was like at home, very relaxing and comfortable, especially with the Julie's (owener) 2 dogs. The parking is just in front of the house which is very convenient. The family room was beautiful. The bathroom is spacious and very... more

Does this toilet look clean? Is that mould on the window frame? Is the bedroom furniture scratched? It might not matter to you but it mattered to me. more

Windy Willums is a very pleasant, clean and friendly place to stay. Its just a pebble throw from the beach and well placed for some bracing and thoroughly enjoyable coastal walks. Don't go if you're not keen on dogs - the labradors are well behaved and good company but very much present. Do go if you love gardening - the... more

Forget the last review, these comments have to read with a little caution. This is easily one of the best B&Bs I have stayed at in England. The rooms and bathrooms are impeccable and tastefully decorated. Julie goes out of her way to make you feel at home; she is genuinely friendly and welcoming and cooks you a delicious and... more

The room was pleasant and clean apart from the toilet which was badly stained. Breakfast was tiny and disappointing. And there was no coffee pot on the table! Parking was also a hassle. Definitely not worth the money. We also got the feeling we were a hindrance and that Julie couldn't be bothered. more

Stayed for a Saturday night off season in April 2007. Booked during the week and new from the first call that this would be a nice place. Great Location just 2 minutes walk from the beach and 5 minutes from the Pub on Mudeford Quay. Turned up at about 5pm and were welcomed to our room, which was very clean... more

We have just returned from a glorious weekend at Windy Willums, where we stayed for 2 nights with our two young daughters. We found the welcome to be very friendly, Julie could not have been nicer. The rooms are large, warm and nicely decorated, with tea making facilities etc and large fluffy towels. Hot shower, supremely comfortable bed and perfect... more

From April, until October 2006, I commuted weekly, to work as an independent consultant, for a large corporation in Christchurch, spending Monday to Friday at the delightful Windy Willums B&B. I found Staying at Windy Willums to be very relaxing, feeling more like staying at a friend’s house than staying in a generic hotel. Julie King, the owner is very... more

We were pleased with the room, location and the friendliness of the owner Julie. Main problem is the shortage of parking when all three rooms are occupied. The access road is residents only from 10.00am until 19.00pm ... so you may have to move your car a few times to prevent getting a parking ticket. Breakfast is average, and we... more

We were windsurfing at Mudeford and stayed at Windy Willums. Julie, the owner was so welcoming and the breakfast was as good as a full English gets and cooked on the Aga. The rooms were really comfortable, we couldn't fault it. It's a lovely part of the coast, a short walk from a nature reserve on the cliff top with... more
