Excellent service and friendly atmosphere, I really enjoyed my stay. There are good facilities including free parking. If I am in the area again I will most certainly pay another visit. The room I stayed was clean with all the mod cons - Flat screen TV, wifi, ensuite etc. Also the B & B is in a good location, a... More

Excellent full English breakfast. Friendly and helpful owner. 5 minute walk to town centre. 5 minute walk to train station. On main road for the M4 motorway. Beautiful river Avon. Old stone buildings. Plenty of shops and places to eat.

Slough 101 comments about Diana Lodge B&B is as comprehensive and as it is fair. Slough 101 was able to access places of interest so easily during the 4 nights stay as both the M4 and train station are such short distance away from the comfort of his room. The bus service times along with railway guide were included in... More

After a long and tireing drive to Chippenham, to attend my young daughters funeral, we arrived at the B&B Parking was easy at the rear off the busy main road. Our room had an en suite with a large very comfy bed plus a single bed. Traffic noise was greatly reduced by the double glazing. My only fault for the... More

After reading negative reviews we were cautious but soon realized some people are never happy. We stayed 9 July 2011 after attending a wedding. Immediately on entering room there was none of the usual smells that we have experienced when staying at hotels throughtout uk. We often stay in hotels on short annual business trips. The bed was a four... More

Stayed two nights in a family room. Bathroom does not have a shower but we were allowed to use the shared bath in the hall for shower. Room was cramped but generally clean. Full English breakfast was good and is prepared for a specific time. Owner is friendly and helpful. Not in the best part of town, although it seemed... More

my wife and I spent to nights here. We were pleased and and delighted with genuine old fashioned manners, courtesy, and helpfullness. We tend to stay in B&Bs rather than hotels, for a more personel touch. you certainly get that here. The rooms are homely and comfortable, and the breakfast is fast and good. We would stay again

We spent the weekend duringt he Chippenham Festival, and found it was a short walk to all the venues. Diana (not her real name) was gracious, hospitable, and provided "extras" to make the stay enjoyable. For example, she packed up our left-over breakfast (which was more than ample) as sandwiches to take away for lunch. The room was cozy and... More

There was plenty of car parking available,The room my friend and my self stayed in was clean and tidy. We were welcomed by the owner, who gave us a selection of good resturants and pubs in walking distance for evening meals. As we were only staying for the one night this time we never had much time to view the... More
