Manor Farm is a very beautiful 17th century Farmhouse offering the warmest bed and breakfast accommodation, coupled with high standards in a warm and relaxed setting. .Alderton is a delightful, pretty little Cotswold village and it is well located for many interesting visits to famous places, Bath, Castle Combe, Tetbury and Lacock to name a few. The bedrooms are charming, beautifully presented and with the travellers’ comfort being the main priority. Breakfasts are delicious and varied using fresh, locally sourced products. There are several super little pubs locally, all of which serve great suppers. There are 4 well mannered and hospitable dogs, also horses and chickens.

I stayed with Catherine and Julian on the 21st and 22nd of March 2023 and I have to say this is one of the best B&B experiences I've ever had. The room was very clean, warm and comfortable. There is a wide range of breakfast options with hot breakfast being cooked to order - all excellent. Would easily recommend Manor Farm to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable stay in the countryside. I will be returning to stay here with my family in the future. 5 Stars

I shared the twin room with a friend for a week while we explored the area. We couldn't have had a better place to stay. A lovely clean, airy room with comfortable beds and a peaceful view out of the window over the garden towards the village church. Victoria, Geoffrey, Bella the cat and the 3 dogs all made us so welcome, along with other members of the family who called in, including gorgeous grandchildren! Victoria made sure we made the most of our days by offering very helpful local advice and suggestions and Geoffrey told us about the history of the house and his life in the village. The garden was a perfect place to relax and we were totally spoilt with regular offers of cups of tea. The breakfasts were beautifully presented and the choices catered for everyone. There are so many places to visit around the area that a week can easily be filled. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

In my case, I was attending a wedding at Grittleton House and unless you are staying at Grittleton House itself this is the closest and nicest B&B you could hope for. Very comfy beds, clean, tea & coffee /amenities and a great bathroom makes it an ideal location. I ventured to the local pub for dinner plus if you like your jogging, it's surrounded by quiet roads and marked footpaths to venture out which I really enjoyed. Our hosts were very attentive and welcoming throughout the 2 nights I stayed there. Breakfast was available when requested in the mornings.

From the minute I contacted Victoria to book our stay, I knew this was going to be a lovely place to stay. We received a warm welcome with the offer of fresh coffee and were shown to our generous, clean and well appointed room with stunning views over unspoilt countryside. This really is a haven of peace and tranquility where you can stop and take a step back from the hussle and bustle of life. The bed was comfortable and the fresh milk for our morning coffee in the room was a lovely, thoughtful touch. Breakfast was fantastic, full of fresh fruit, cereals and a lovely, good quality, farmhouse breakfast with ample coffee and toast. Nothing was too much trouble, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming and we will definitely be back. A perfect break away!

We had a great stay at this B&B. The hostess was so welcoming and helpful giving tips on food and drink and places to visit in the area. The house was beautiful and had really comfy rooms. The breakfast was superb. The shower was a little tricky to use but otherwise the facilities were good.

We absolutely loved Manor Farm! A stunning.and charming property, ideally located for exploring the Cotswolds - the photos don't do it justice. Our room was super clean and well-appointed, with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was also spectacular! Victoria makes a generous, warm and excellent host; it felt like we were staying with old friends. We also loved seeing the horses, having chickens clucking about in the garden, and playing with the lovable dogs. We'll definitely be back!

Three night stay with my daughter as part of a wider family gathering. Victoria is a wonderful host and made us very welcome before showing us to our beautiful room and impressive bathroom. Tea in the comfortable sitting room with biscuits as we discussed our plans and recommendations for eating out. I had requested a gluten free breakfast and Victoria had gone the extra mile to provide GF biscuits with tea and also GF muesli as well as good quality GF bread for breakfast ( which was plentiful and delicious) Highly recommended and would certainly return .

We stayed here for 3 nights recently and loved it. Victoria is a very gracious host and we enjoyed breakfast in the dining room. She gave us excellent recommendations for eating out locally at different village pubs,as well as information on great day trips. The Manor Farm is a working farm and the homestead is the original building, refurbished for comfort! The gardens surrounding the homestead are delightful.
