We booked a family room for a one night stopover. The room was very spacious and clean. The swimming pool was good for the children. Unfortunately when we had a cooked breakfast, it was cold. Having stayed at the Angel before, we had no problems so I think this was just a blip. Would recommend this hotel to families. more

I must have stayed somewhere different to everyone else - the hotel is lovely, I believe it has just undergone a substantial refurbishment. A nice central location. I was not disturbed by any noise from the high street. the hotel has a lovely court yard to sit in. the bedrooms are very clean and have everything you need. the bed spreads look a bit dated (flowery). The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. more
