Glebe House is quintessentially, with a touch of the exotic, an award winning small country house B & B set in one of Wiltshire’s hidden gems. With a 4 Star Silver award (2013) and the Green Business Tourism Silver Award you are assured of quality and a high standard. The house is set in a mature garden, with off street parking. It is truly a tranquil and quiet place to stay. Our song birds and the wild life here are a rare treasure. All the rooms are furnished with comfortable beds made up with beautiful white, crisp bed linen and unique quilts from India and Portugal and have tea and coffee making facilities. The bathrooms have complimentary soaps and shower gels and large towels. We accept well behaved children and have a cot with linen and high chairs. You can sink into a comfortable sofa by the log fire and watch TV or a DVD or simply read the copious number of books .Your breakfast and dinner are sourced as locally as possible from our local butcher and farm shop. In summer we use what we grow in the garden in the kitchen and serve at meals. Rhubbarb is a great favourite. We make our own marmalades and jams. From Chittoe we are well placed to visit three world Heritage sites, Avebury, Bath and Stonehenge and then there are the delightful villages of Lacock and Castle Combe. We are currently working on walking and cycling tours from the house and pack lunches can be provided. There are National Trust properties, gardens galore, historical houses and cathedrals to visit. We can help with your itinerary. There is Wifi here so if you need to keep in touch with the outside world or your business you can with ease.Paws for Thought – we do like to welcome good dogs.
