I chose to stay at Glebe House B&B because dogs were accepted. The proprietor gave my partner and myself a warm greeting along with a cup of tea and cake on arrival. The accommodation was clean and well decorated with plenty of room. Our breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Overall we were satisfied customers and shall return in the summer. More

We can endorse the comments of other visitors: Glebe House is a warm, welcoming and hospitable home that is tranquilly sited and full of historic interest. Your hostess is welcoming, interested and knowledgeable; conversation is a real pleasure. The bed is very comfortable and the linen sheets crisp and restful. Don't visit if you want a formulaic hotel - this... More

We had a wonderful but regrettably brief stay at Glebe House as we were attending a wedding in a nearby village. Our room was immaculate, very comfortable and tastefully furnished and we only wish we'd had longer to enjoy the accommodation and the surrounding countryside. Ginny was very welcoming and accommodating, providing good company and a wonderful breakfast! We hope... More

My partner and I stayed at Glebe House for two nights - a welcome break away from home. The house is situated within easy reach of all the places we wanted to visit - Avebury Stone Circle, Stonehenge, Old Sarum Castle near Salisbury and more. Our bedroom, the Indigo Room, was lovely, with lots of family ornaments and objects collected... More

We came up to Wiltshire for two nights for a wedding. Unfortunately Ginny had no vacancies on the first night so we had to stay at a nearby B&B. After a rather disappointing first night it was lovely to move down to Ginny's where it was very welcoming and the rooms were lovely. Our bathroom had all the little extras,... More

Glebe House is a wonderfully comfortable place to stay, situated in beautiful surroundings providing a peaceful and relaxing environment. We received a warm welcome and were looked after to a very high standard throughout our stay. Ginny was very helpful and happy to share her extensive knowledge about local attractions. Our only criticism would be that our stay was too... More

Glebe House was the perfect place to stay for two nights. Ginny was not only the perfect host but you felt relaxed in her company. Watching the birds in the garden from the bedroom was a joy to see. Breakfast and the dinner we had with Ginny were very good. She recommended going to Wells which we hadn't thought to... More

My wife and I stayed at Glebe House with my infirm elderly mother. It is a lovely house in a beautiful, peaceful location. Both the bedrooms and the sitting room are attractively furnished and exteremely comfortable. The ground floor room was ideal for my mother. Breakfasts were very good. Our hostess could not have been more helpful, and we particularly... More

We found this B&B to be a excellent choice. The accomodation was clean and the hostess was so welcoming. After a long day battling the tourists in Bath it was wonderful to be able to retreat Glebe House. The local pub food and service was outstaninding(and we visited a lot of pubs on our trip). Our only regret is that... More
