We stayed at The Passage House for 2 nights.The location is lovely and if you are lucky enough to get a room overlooking the estuary even better. Stayed in South Lodge. Roomy, clean and comfortable. Slightly austere look as no doors on storage, toiletries from dispensers rather than small bottles. Towels too small. Hotel rooms although clean were in urgent need of updating with a refurb,especially the bathrooms . I suspect the rooms are still as they looked when the hotel first opened( 70s, early 80,s ?). My parner and I stayed in this hotel for a weekend break. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were efficient and friendly. The facilities are good, particularly the pool and gym. Good choice of food in either the restraunt or the pub next door. more
