Dunmoor is a pleasant house over looking the water meadows. It is in a convenient location on the main road through Callander but it is not noisy at night. We had a large front room with extra seating, and a spacious full bathroom. The accommodation was comfortable and spacious, and breakfast was good, but the atmosphere and service was a little impersonal. Fine for an overnight stay. more

We visited Dunmor House in June 2008 and loved our stay. We rented a room for our sons and another for ourselves. The owners were attentive and laid back. The young lady that made breakfast and cares for Dunmor for the owners was delightful. The mix of an stately older house with urban/metro decorations in earthy colors was very attractive. Callander was a great village with many dining choices, especially the "Mhor" group of resteraunts. We walked the main street. We biked the length of Loch Katherine and hopped the boat back. It was a great area for our 11 and 15 year olds. We loved the outdoor recreation opportunities. more
