We stayed for a night at the waverley for our wedding anniversary. It looks more of a pub than a hotel on first impressions but has a cosy lounge with comfy leather sofas and plasma tv. The entrance to the Waverley hotel is uninspiring and smelly. The reception desk backs on to the kitchen so that's where the smell comes from! Stayed a weekend with my hubby for our anniversary. Havent a bad thing to say about the place. The room was immaculate, beautiful ensuite. Pure white bed linen and towels which is always good.
