Have not long returned from a jaunt to Callander where we dined at The Waverley. The place was quiet (it was the 27th of December) but we weren't put off. Food was quick, tasty and piping hot. Staff were efficient and attentive. In the realms of the 'better than your average' pub lunch, this place comes up trumps.

Located on the main street in Callander, easy access to all local amenities. Room is clean but we found the bed uncomfortable as we feel it has been well used. Breakfast was cooked to order and is of high quality.

We have stayed here 3 times, on the whole good experiences, had understood refurbishment was in progress but a lick of paint is insufficient, the beds really need replacing the springs are visible and very audible!!! and a good nights sleep is imperitive but not achieved
