Mike and Lesley are the perfect hosts. We were given afternoon tea on the terrace as soon as we arrived while Mike carried our bags upstairs. The Gold Room was beautifully furnished with a large comfortable bed and the fluffiest doona. A nice touch was the towels bundled on the bed and tied with gold ribbon. more

Westerton is simply the best B&B we have stayed in in the UK. It is also on a par with the best B&B we have stayed in in the USA, who are masters of Victorian B&B accommodation. We could not fault this guest house where we stayed recently to celebrate our anniversary. Book the Blue Room if you can for spaciousness and lovely view of the peaceful garden. the week end started perfectly when we were warmly welcomed with tea and biscuits on the terrace overlooking a lovely garden with the river leny flowing gently by at the bottom.
