Easy to find, excellent location, warm and friendly welcome. We would recommend having an evening meal here - the food was top class. The hosts were very family friendly. Relaxed atmosphere - we would definately recommend this farmhouse and will be returning if visiting this part of Scotland again. more

First class service with very comfortable room set in a great location. Meals were very tasty served in a comfortable dining room with a very nice lounge next door. Would have preferred the room to be a bit cooler as it was difficult to sleep at night due to the heat. Overall enjoyed the stay in this guest house which... more

We spent a total of 3 nights in this lovely B&B with beautiful views. Rita & Bill were very hospitable & made us feel like family friends. We stayed in the downstairs family room (room 6), which was beautifully decorated with a large en-suite bathroom. The beds were comfortable & the room a comfortable size for our family of 3.... more

Rita was an adequate hostess, however, she did not make us feel welcome. We never met Bill, he stayed in the background. From the previous reviews that I read about this place , I... more

Bill & Rita gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived. Advised us of what to do & where to go, even booked resteraunts for us for dinner. I know it's been said before, but, you must try Bill's porridge, I just regret not getting the recipe. The view from our bedroom window was lovely (room 5). Will definately... more

Bill and Rita were excellent hosts and made our first visit to Scotland extra special. Nothing was to much trouble for them. The food was very good and we really enjoyed Bill's porridge.... more

Family rooms can be hard to find in Europe; so, for our return trip to Scotland, we decided to go the B&B / Guest House route and we're sure glad we did. Immediately upon arrival, Rita told us that she'd had a cancellation so she was upgrading us!!! She put us in Upper Floor Rooms 2&3 (at least I think... more

Bill and Rita are lovely, friendly people and were very accommodating to us. Their guest house is very clean and quiet, situated away from the main road so you really get a peaceful and relaxing feeling. Our room was on the 1st floor and very spacious with en-suite bathroom which had both a bath tub and a separate shower. I'm... more
