Our stay at Leny Estate Lodges in August was somewhat disappointing. Having booked through Premier Holiday Cottages many times previously, and never having had a bad experience with their accommodation, we were looking forward to this accommodation described as "four star luxury". It certainly was not. It was a swiss type lodge that was in need of some tlc. It was dark, the lighting was inadequate, the curtains had obviously been washed but had shrunk so were half way up the windows, the bedroom was musty, the bed uncomfortable, the sofa in the lounge was not at all comfortable (and the previous occupants who had obviously had children, had left numerous crayons pens and paper under the sofa - so much for being hoovered!)!). The verandah on the lodge was littered with pebbles, leaves and an inordinate amount of cobwebs which prevented you from sitting at the table unless you brushed it thoroughly.
