We chose The Bullers Arms for a family re-union meal for 18 people recently and were really impressed with the quality of the food, attentive staff and the overall feel of the pub. The portion sizes were great, tasty and hot - prepared and served quickly and we were even provided with a private room for our party at no... More

Food Okay, beer alright, Pride, Tribute et al could do with 23 ounce glasses to get a bit of head on the pint, shouldering past the ruck, at the corner of the bar to get to the loo (Gents) I could do without, if I need a game i'll go down to Acklam, not when i'm on holiday.

We have been visiting Marmchurch since 2002, and have always enjoyed going to this pub. Unfortunately it seems to have lost its 'mojo'!! We noticed that the bar area was spacious but not cosy, a bit 'unloved' as my wife put it. Needs flowers to brighten the place up? The food prices have greatly increased and we therefore decided not... More

It wants to be a gastro pub, but it isn't. We ate here for dinner, sadly arriving just after a table of 15 had been seated, meaning we had to wait quite a while to place our order. I tried the bouillabaisse - at £17 I had pretty high expectations - and my partner had the summer garden plate, a... More

This is everything you would want from a village pub when on holiday. Attentive, happy staff - check. Good selection of drinks - check. Good food - check. All the food is homemade, and well made at that. My wife and I went twice, once for the Sunday carvery and once of an evening. The carvery was one of the... More

My husband and I were on a day-trip around Cornwall and stopped a local to ask where to eat. They recommended this pub. I was trying to avoid yet more hum-drum pub food, but with this I was pleasantly surprised. The food was outstanding. I highly recommend it!

I booked a night here so I could join family in nearby farm cottage complex. The room was big and comfortable. The bathroom had nice toiletries and everything worked fine. We had supper here that evening which was delicious, as was breakfast. Everyone was friendly and easy going so I decided to stay another night. What I really liked was... More

The Bullers Arms Hotel is the archetypal Village Inn and we dined there on several evenings during our recent stay in St.Gennys, south of Bude. The Bullers is a large white building in the center of the village and is very easy to find by visitors to the area. It has a good sized car park and a large garden... More
