We went to the Rhinefield house the second week of July for a wedding. The wedding was beautiful. We would never stay at that hotel again though, especially not for the price! The grounds and outside of the hotel are beautiful, the inside is not so great. The staff is very rude, the food is not so great and take... more

Previously stayed at the Rhinefield in March 2008 on one of their special rates. Whilst the hotel is in a magnificient setting, I can understand people's disappointment if they paid the full rate. The room was nicely decorated with a luxurious bathroom and all the "equipment " worked but yes housekeeping is an issue. Rooms aren't cleaned until later in... more

I stayed for two nights for a wedding reception during early July 2008. I was forced to stay in to different rooms due to lack of availability, both of which were poor overall. My first night, in a suite, was on one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on (I resorted to the sofa). The TV's, though... more

A keen disappointment. We stayed four nights in this hotel, which is a magnificent rambling building set in a glorious park. Having parked our car we had a long walk from the inadequate car park to where the problems started in Reception. After a long journey we arrived tired and hungry to be addressed by a Receptionist who poured out... more

Booked to stay here for two nights because we had a reduced rate offer for a double deluxe room. Location is beautiful, and the building is stunning. Arrived on the Friday evening around 7.30pm. Found Reception (more by luck than by judgement). Checked in without problem and we were shown to our room. There was obviously a wedding going on... more

Stayed at Rhinefield house for 2 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hotel is set deep in the New Forest offering wonderful walks, cycling and views. The hotel itself is an impressive building (if a little tired in places in side) and the grounds are well maintained / impressive. The outdoor pool is clean and the in door Pool /... more

We booked on LateRooms and were pleasantly suprised by the standard of the hotel. We had a nice room and the grounds of the hotel are lovely. So many hotels have great websites that promise a luxury hotel but then you turn up to find just another mediocre hotel. At last we booked something that actually lived up to the... more

Stayed at Rhinefield as a stop over from a Conference. Arrived by driving down through the forest, then turning up the drive to a wonderful view of the Hotel. Rooms excellent, the little touches mean a lot, with the soft toy horse being used as a "do not disturb sign" that you put outside your room if you wanted to... more

We enjoyed a one night stay at Rhinefield House last weekend for a little R&R. Living quite close to the New Forest we have often passed by and were curious to visit as the building is so grand and in a gorgeous location. We thoroughly enjoyed the grounds which where stunning and the building is simply wonderful and packed full... more

We stayed at Rhinefield House for two nights on 27th & 28th May for a little R&R in the New Forest. On arrival our bags were taken to our room (The Munro Suite) within a couple of minutes. The room was excellent and we were stunned to find that we had been upgraded to this suite having already gotten an... more
