Stayed at Rhinefield with my wife for 2 nights over bank holiday weekend. The hotel is set in a stunning location however I suspect lack of competition is affecting standards. There were 2 ladies checking in guests, one was very good the other (more junior receptionist) was quite condescending when answering questions. This lady was telling her guests that they... more

This hotel is in a great location. We had a room in the extension, which was poorly designed. The room was modern but very small. The breakfast was great. The biggest problem was the staff. They seemed experienced. Our room wasn't cleaned after our first night, so we called the front desk when we returned to the hotel at 7... more

This was my second visit to Rhinefield House, and it won't be my last. It works perfectly for my family, I have now been there with my parents, my sister and her children and this time round with my 11 year old daughter. We really enjoyed our stay even though it was only for one night on this occasion. I've... more

We stayed for a Wedding party. The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to help in so many ways - incl. getting a stain out of a dress and cleaning a room so we could book in late! After a wonderful event, breakfast the next day was spot on. There's a buffet of breads, cheeses, cereals, fruit... more

We stayed two nights. The room, an executive room, was very nice, the bed was very comfy! We ate both nights in the brasserie restaurant - the food was average although nicely presented. On the second night we tried to order a bottle of wine, but this proved difficult as they didn't have our first choice, and only had one,... more

Looks fantastic in the pics but you dont stay in the house you stay in a glass block on the side which isnt bad but knowhere near to ab luxury room. its made for business meetings. the staff are unattentive and surly, we sat with another couple waiting to be served in the bistro for ages whilst being totaly ignored... more

This hotel is set on its own in the middle of the New Forest, and provides a great location for exploring the surrounding countryside either on foot, on cycle or by car. The old part of the building was built in 1890, with a more modern (in keeping with the original ) bedroom wing and spa. The staff were really... more

My husband took me away for a birthday weekend and booked a night in Rhinefield House Hotel, a place we'd been meaning to try. It's in a fantastic location, central in the New Forest and off an Ornamental Drive - bascially in the depths of the forest. It's a beautiful looking building and full of wow factor. We also got... more

We booked this on a very special deal - so it is worth signing up on their web-site. The hotel is in the middle of the New Forest, seemingly miles from everywhere but this is part of the Hotel's charm. The main hotel is a beautiful building but incredibly the new extension, which is totally modern, perfectly complements the old... more
