We booked on LateRooms and were pleasantly suprised by the standard of the hotel. We had a nice room and the grounds of the hotel are lovely. So many hotels have great websites that promise a luxury hotel but then you turn up to find just another mediocre hotel. At last we booked something that actually lived up to the... more

Stayed at Rhinefield as a stop over from a Conference. Arrived by driving down through the forest, then turning up the drive to a wonderful view of the Hotel. Rooms excellent, the little touches mean a lot, with the soft toy horse being used as a "do not disturb sign" that you put outside your room if you wanted to... more

We enjoyed a one night stay at Rhinefield House last weekend for a little R&R. Living quite close to the New Forest we have often passed by and were curious to visit as the building is so grand and in a gorgeous location. We thoroughly enjoyed the grounds which where stunning and the building is simply wonderful and packed full... more

We stayed at Rhinefield House for two nights on 27th & 28th May for a little R&R in the New Forest. On arrival our bags were taken to our room (The Munro Suite) within a couple of minutes. The room was excellent and we were stunned to find that we had been upgraded to this suite having already gotten an... more

Went here for my wife's birthday. Not a good choice. The problems with this hotel start as you enter reception. The staff are not friendly and are vague, uncommunicative and indifferent. Our room was not ready when we arrived and so we opted to go and sit by the ponds to have some lunch. Nobody offered to show us where... more

We had a 3 night stay from the Wed till Sat at the end of May and overall would go back even though it was not perfect. Location great. Reception area OK and staff pleasant. Walk through bar to rooms is odd but not that bad and the bar could do with some TLC. We were on a DBB package... more

After reading all of the negative reviews on here i felt as if i should write something. Me and my husband had our wedding there last wknd and i had read some previous reviews which made me quite apprehensive. I needn't have been, it was faultless. We arrived on the friday evening and the girls at check in were brilliant.... more

We stayed for one Friday night. Like another reviewer, we found there was a wedding party on when we were there which seemed to be more than the hotel could cope with. The location and building are stunning, except the uber modern new wing which we were in - the room was just like every other airport hotel you've ever... more

I've stayed twice in the last 18months and intend to go back in 3 months again. Is it the world's best hotel...no its not, is it the most terrible hotel...no its not!! Overall it is a good hotel by typical UK standards and its reasonably priced. The hotel is in simply the best location for the New Forest without a... more

I booked this hotel for a weekend away with my partner for his birthday and it was a shocking waste of money. When we got there, the drive up was stunning, but there was a queue at reception and we had to wait quite a while to register. We then found that we had to walk through a wedding reception... more
