Although the hotel is a little dated the room was clean and comfortable and more importantly as we were walking the South West Coastal Path it is directly on the path so we didn't need to walk any extra distance! We've stayed at the Hartland Quay Hotel every October since 2001, we always go for the hill climb weekend. I agree that some of the decoration looks a little dated, but the staff are always lovely, and the owners, Chris and Jill are really friendly and very helpful.
