My girlfriend and I have just spent the weekend at Sand Le Mere holiday park, and we both really enjoyed it. We got a great deal, I booked a three night stay with breakfreeholidays.co.uk for £40, then had to pay a £20 service and entertainment charge to the park, so £60 for a long weekend, I thought that was a... With a relative owning a caravan at this site, we find ourselves at the campsite quite often. In high season, the site is gorgeous. All the residents and staff are wonderful, and always have a smile on their face. A walk on the beach is a necessity in the warm Sun. There is plenty to do for the kids, with... More

A very cheap 4 night break booked through Hoseasons at around £100 for 4 nights (including the dog!) So any criticisms should be viewed keeping the price in mind. Even a cheap holiday should provide the basics however...clean accomodation containing the items advertised. Unfortunately our caravan seemed to have been empty for a while....there was a high population of flies... More

Really nice modern clean accommodation I understand park is being redeveloped would be interesting to see. Bit put off by the horrible shabby caravans on the site though (that we didn't have ) and ultimately the homeless broke into each night to kip down in next to us ( we caught them flicking the electric box outside every night) not... We wanted an autumn break by the sea in East Yorkshire and we hit the jackpot! The caravan was excellent and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming - including both staff and park residents. We stayed a fortnight and enjoyed an unexpected Indian summer. Thankfully the park is very dog friendly and was kept clean. The price of our... More

This holiday park looks amazing as you drive up to it with a lovely house and duck pond on your right as you approach the reception area. That's where the lovely bit starts and finishes. We took our dog with us and unfortunately as a dog owner you are grouped with smokers so consequently our caravan stank of smoke every... More

Thank you for taking the time to post your review on Trip Advisor. We are sorry to hear that your break did not meet expectations although you’re right Hornsea, have a couple of really excellent fish & chip restaurants! Apologies that you were not happy with your caravan, had you spoken to Reception, they would have been happy to find... More
